When I was three years old my parents and me lived off of Springforest Ave, it was a two family yellow house. We lived upstairs and I can clearly recall some of many many uneasy un-explained things that would happen when I was at the age of three l would be in the crib trying to take a nap these three men dressed all in white with what looked to be like doctor mask on where hovering over me and the bedroom crib.
They were called the hawaks or that's clearly what I remember about them. Also there was a lady that hanged herself in the attic on Springforest Ave a few houses away from ours. My father swears up and down that at the same moment that she jumped my dad felt a wisp of ice cold air, and felt as if something had flew through him or by him.
With any regards Binghamton is an extremely old old town which use to be called Dwightsvill, New York.
There has been a lot of hauntings reported and experienced by me as well from a very young age until this day. The key most haunted parts of Binghamton is the entire Springforest area ranging from Magatt St all the way down to Cypress St, Springforest Ave, Chenago River by the K-mart along the river bank and around the bridge CFJ Park old factory that made shoes was extremely eerie.
Woodrow Wilson school, Front Street, Calvery Cemetery, all these places are and always will be haunted. There are many reports of murders / suicides around the Front Street area around the Brides and River embankment near the cement wall calvery.
At night you can catch EVPs on a voice recorder feel and sometimes see white patches of mist that suddenly disappear. I've not only seen these but felt these as well. Rod Serling from the twilight zone also hunts the carousel, do not believe me, go to these places after dark and do EVP experiments. I promise you you will not be disappointed, go to the grave yard at Springforest and try to get some EVPs. Ask them what the hell a hawak is and there is also an old lady in that very same grave yard who will stare at you until every hair on your neck, arms, and leg stands up till you run away, she will disappear after about ten sec...
