The ghost of a chained up gentleman may sometimes be made out concealing a body by a big boulder in Sellers Field at night. Many residents say this spirit is the spirit of a visitor that was murdered while journeying through Burke some decades ago.

The ghost of a young lady covered in blood was perceived in the middle of Alder Brook reading a newspaper. This precise phantom has been made out very often in this spot. Whatever folks state, it's a chilling phantom that you don't want to run into in the early morning hours.

The ghost of an elderly sorceress was perceived trying on socks in a Burke residence.
 
    There have been other descriptions on the subject of this phantom in the area.

A man with a sizeable hole through his upper body appeared examining Brayton Hollow in detail at the stroke of midnight. Many folks nearby have had matching events involving a similar ghost.

A woman's body having a skunk's head was observed near High Falls
  at the stroke of midnight looking. This ghost is very active in this neighborhood; there have been frequent additional accounts of this particular ghost. Folks here who have noticed this spirit allege this spirit loves scaring people who are courageous enough to interrupt the silence in Burke. One thing's for guaranteed, it in all certainty is a bloodcurdling phantom that you shouldn't go looking for.
