Custom Search Callicoon, New York Ghost Sightings Callicoon PAGE 1   2     While driving around in the country last May 2011 as my wife and I love to do we stopped at Hillriegel road where it meets Hankins road outside Hankins NY. We had never been up Hillriegel and we were debating whether to take the left onto it. As we looked up the road we both saw a tall figure dressed totally in Black robes down to her Black booted feet with a Black cowl over her head. We assumed it was a female though     we couldn't be certain. We couldn't see any features. I thought she was walking towards us while my wife thought she was walking back up the Hill away from us. It was hard to Tell as all we could see were the robes moving. We didn't think much of it at the time but we decided to turn up hillriegel. We did a quick k turn in order to get in position to drive up the Hill no more than 15 - 20 seconds. But when we saw the road again the figure had disappeared.
