As we looked up the road we both saw a tall figure dressed totally in black robes down to her black booted feet with a black cowl over her head. We assumed it was a female though we couldn't be certain. We couldn't see any features. I thought she was walking towards us while my wife thought she was walking back up the Hill away from us. It was hard to Tell     as all we could see were the robes moving. We didn't think much of it at the time but we decided to turn up hillriegel. We did a quick k turn in order to get in position to drive up the Hill no more than 15 - 20 seconds. But when we saw the road again the figure had disappeared. We drove up the Hill slowly but there was nowhere for her to have gone. There are deep wooded ruts on either side of the road and the first houses were set back enough that we would have seen her before she had time to get inside even at a run. She was just gone.
