An armed forces outfit wandering about without a body in it may occasionally be observed pulling a cadaver from the cold water of Black Creek before sunrise. In any case, it's a terrifying ghost that is better not disrupted. The ghost of a civil war warrior was seen       trying to grab something near the water at Bernhard Bay. The arrival of the bystander frightened the ghost who then disappeared. Several of the locals say this phantom is the stressed spirit of a long dead Cleveland person who lived here. The ghost of an awfully scorched woman emerged dragging a dead body over the grass in Chapman Park very   late at night. The ghost mumbled about revenging an assassination. If you talk to the people who live here, this ghost is that of a local who had a house here in Cleveland many years ago.
