The camp itself was only open for a year and a half, but 2,963 soldiers died there. Now it's just part of the river dike, with an abandoned museum standing where the officers tents were. Fishermen, dog walkers, and other people have reported seeing people marching along the ridge of the dike. My Paranormal group CCPI- Chemung County Paranormal Investigators went there for an investigation. My team     members and I agree that it is haunted. We got whiffs of cigar smoke, heard voices, and heard the sounds of marching there. .
