Endicott, New York Ghost Tales Hi ... I kind of stumbled across this site by accident. Here is a note I posted on a ''meetup'' page several months ago regarding a sighting in Endicott I had as a kid. Anyone with info feel free to e-mail me at lespaulstandar@juno.com .... Here is my post: Hello, My name is Scott, from the Rochester area. Just want relate a story when I was 12-13 or so and ask if anyone has similar story or knows what I''m talking about. I was visiting my grandparents, along with my three cousins-- 2 boys and a girl, all younger than me -- at my grandparents' home on West Main St. in Endicott. Myself and the two boy cousins were hanging out in the bedroom we were staying in upstairs. We were looking out the side window at the really beat-up house next door (it did have residents). Anyway we were looking at the side porch of this house and this guy, the only way I can describe it is an apparition, kept appearing and disappearing right before our       eyes. This part sounds really stupid, but he had on a yellow sweater. I'll never forget it ... He would be there and then be gone. Just like that. It happened several times, not like he was going in and out of the house, but would just vanish and then be there again. It was wierd as hell we all were fascinated by it. Anyway, I'll never forget it and   wondered if there is a haunted house in that area, or any reports similar to this etc. . Submitted by Scott At first sight Endicott, New York seems like an average town, but under the surface there are weird things happening. The undeceased are everywhere in this municipality as the folks who live here will report to you. Some folks who live here claim these stories are untrue, but everyone who resides in Endicott is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A headless man was seen sitting on the floor in a home in Endicott. The bystander panicked and escaped. The ghost of a doctor with a blood-covered uniform was spotted discussing into the air up on the pinnacle of Bornt Hill. The ghost greeted the witness. A lady with her head and both legs removed appeared reading a newspaper in Bailey Hollow late at night. The ghost was ingested by the air after being made out. In any case, it sure is a terrifying spirit that you wouldn't want to come across after midnight.
