We lived in a big white house that was turned into apartments on Union Street in Hamburg. I was 9 or 10 when one night while I was sleeping there was a thunder storm and the power went out. I was afraid of the dark still and my bedroom was off the kitchen so my mom would leave the stove light on, and when it went out it must have woke me up so I walked out of my room to go to my parents room as I was walking through the kitchen a bright ghost appeared in front of me about 3 feet away from me.

I got the feeling that it was a little girl younger that me because she was shorter than me. Well as soon as it appeared I started screaming like crazy for my parents and as soon as my dad ran in the kitchen it disappeared as soon as it appeared.
We moved in the 90's but to this day I feel stongly that there was something about the attic and our apartment because we were the closest to the attic door.
