Hunter, New York Ghost Tales


To the outsider Hunter, New York appears like an average settlement, but when the darkness of night sets in; things turn chilling. The ghosts of this town don’t leave anyone unstartled. People who have never spent a night in this town will inform you it's all myths, but not a hundred percent of the natives of Hunter are breathing.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The ghost of a tied up man has often been noticed trashing a bag in a raft on Dolans Lake. A local person asserts that this phantom is possibly the struggling phantom of a local person who used to live here in Hunter.

The spirit of a youthful woman soaked in blood is frequently witnessed exploring Becker Hollow in detail before sunrise. One of the residents decisively claims that this ghost is the undeparted spirit of a former Hunter local resident.

The phantom of an old sorceress is known to have been witnessed on a small number of instances searching for a shoe by Devils Tombstone.

A female's
 
    body with a goat's head may repeatedly be seen flying across the Blackhead Mountains at night. Several of the people who live in this town say this ghost is that of a local person who existed here in Hunter many years ago. One thing's for sure, it's a menacing ghost that is rather not disturbed.

A guy with the head of a beast can be made out often by Allen Brook smoking a cigar.
