A woman having the head of a demon can be seen repeatedly staring down into the water at Appletree Neck in the early morning hours. A female holding her head beside her arm has every so often been seen strolling by the side of a desolate highway right next door to Islip Terrace. The ghost of a young female dressed in a blood-splattered prom dress is every so often witnessed relaxing on a bench in a home close to Islip Terrace. A headless lady has been witnessed on one or two occasions going nuts at the entrance to Fire Island National Seashore. Locals say that this ghost can be the spirit of a local person who passed away here in Islip Terrace a long time ago. Any which way, it's a scary ghost that should be shunned. The ghost of a 9 feet high enormous guy may sometimes be spotted in the backseat of a Dodge by the driver spotting the spirit in her rear view mirror in the early morning hours before sunrise.
