There's nothing extraordinary regarding Jefferson, New York by day, but if you are easily startled, you'd best stay at a safe distance from here at night. There have been loads of experiences with beings from the other side. Not everyone believes in the descriptions the residents tell, but Jefferson is full of undead spirits just waiting to scare you.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of a man having half his head gone was witnessed marching through a Jefferson vicinity churchyard. Many folks around here have had matching occurrences involving a similar spirit.

A decapitated woman emerged looking bloodcurdling on the water's edge of Stamford Reservoir. This ghost is extremely active in this area; there have been a small number of additional sightings of this exact ghost.

The ghost of an adolescent girl was spotted hanging out in an abandoned manor in Jefferson. The witness fled right after she made out the phantom.

    face dressed in gloomy robes materialized on the peak of Blenheim Hill late at night looking at the panorama. The ghost did not mind that there was somebody else nearby.

A female having a knife in her head was spotted hurling rocks in Clapper Hollow Creek. The appearance of the watcher alarmed the ghost who then faded away.
