Lake George, New York Ghost Tales | |
|
When I was younger, about 6 or so, my grandparents took me camping every summer to Roger's Rock Campgrounds at the base of Tongue Mountian on Route 9N. We were there so often, in fact, that the ranger we called 'Gramps' new my family by name.
One night while my grandmother and grandfather were making dinner on the fire, I had to go to the bathroom. Feeling safe there, they let me walk the couple of hundered feet to the public bathroom at the end of the horeshoe.
I had almost gotten to the bathroom when I looked up and saw a figure, glowing, almost greenish. He was as solid and as clear as day. He had his own light source that was all around him.
In retrospect, I believe it was a native american man in his late teens, early 20's. I have never forgotten it and only told a few. . Submitted by John Categories: campground, man
I have a neighbor that had a ghost in buckskins try to open her hand and place a coin in it. Another time she saw the same ghost and an Indian walk
