Mechanicville, New York Ghost Tales    Me and my husband just bought a house in Mechanicville. It is an old house, about 60 years old. We were taking pictures of the new house to send to my mother-in-law, who wasn't able to see the house in person, and found this. It scared us so much, we're actually looking for new houses in Stillwater. I uploaded the photo. I was in my dads backyard with 2 friends just 2 summers ago when we heard a lady yelling a boys name. We looked around and out of the basement door ran a little boy and a woman. They were both pale,almost white. We all screamed and ran whe we heard a loud screech and the saw headlights flash through the basement window the we heard a loud scream and that was it. We all left but eventually went back. My second sighting wasnt as scary but ha more witnesses.I was across the street from my friends house with 7 of my friends. WE were waitng for our 8th friend to come outside when we heard someone banging on a window.We looked across the st. to see if it was our friend when we saw a pale,angry old man in the attic window. He was banging and looked very mad. Then he just suddenly balled into a cloud and floated away from       the window. We all screamed and ran. Not to mention, it was very dark out. . A lady with worms crawling out of her nose is now and then spotted crying up on Cornell Hill. The ghost of a lady with a stiletto in her head has supposedly been observed on a small number of instances talking into the thin air as if someone in addition was there. The phantom of a tied up woman may once in a while be noticed in Saratoga National Historical Park on a dark night struggling to articulate something. According to the residents, this ghost is the stressed soul of a former Mechanicville person who lived here.
