The onlooker fled immediately after he noticed the phantom. In any event, it in all certainty is a frightening spirit that you do not want to come across late in the night. The   phantom of an aged Indian chief came into sight on a dark night exploring Pleasant Valley in detail. When the witness appeared the ghost escaped. The phantom of an old cleaning lady was seen discussing into the thin air as if someone besides was near. The arrival of the witness startled the ghost who then vanished.
