Newfield, New York Ghost Tales I've lived in Newfield for mostly all my life. As a child I grew up in Jim Ray's trailer park and I would always hear footsteps every night. Now as an adult I live in a apartment building and I've experienced many noises and dark figures in my home. Just the other night me and my boyfriend heard a noise about 4:00 in the morning. We remembered shutting the closet door before we went to bed and when we woke up to a noise that sounded like a closet door shutting. Our closet door happen to be open. This is just one of the many experiences that I've had in this apartment. Even my neighbors say they have seen things. I'm not sure but I think one of the ghosts in my home could possibly be my boyfriends little sister that passed away at a young age. My daughter has said that she's seen her sitting in her bedroom and even carried a conversation with her. We believe that she is my daughter's guardian angel. But not all the the spirits in this house appear to be friendly. I have seen dark figures as well. I for a fact know that this place is haunted. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A decapitated guy was spotted guzzling water from Lucifer Falls on a dark night. The eye witness panicked and fled. A female with her head and left arm and left leg removed came into view reading a magazine up on the apex of Barnes Hill. The ghost did not appear to be anxious by the viewers. In any case, it is certainly a frightening ghost that you wouldn't wish to meet very late at night.
