The phantom of a young female outfitted as a house keeper was seen late in the night giving a guided outing of Potato Rock to a group of spirits. When spotted the ghost came within reach of the observer who then ran away. In any event, this ghost certainly is chilling; one that you wouldn't wish to run into after midnight.
The ghost of a young-looking cowboy has frequently been distinguished by Croton Dam before sunrise looking at the water.
A scary beast is frequently observed flying over the Pocantico Hills at the stroke of midnight. A local resident says that this phantom is that of a local person who dwelled here in Ossining some decades ago.
