The firehouse was a mansion owned by one of the richest families in peekskill. They eventually donated it to the city who turned it into a firehouse. It is legend that this man was given a job back when it was really hard for an african american to get a job. It is said that he was treated so well by the family that     to this day he still cleans the place.Harmless but still freaky.  The other a child, from what I was told, the child was mentally handicap and back then it was considered shameful to have a handicap child so the kid was confined to the house. Late at night you can hear the quick speeded footsteps of a child running and a child laughing. The child has been known to turn over tables and chairs as well. I have seen and heard these ghosts personally.
