Philmont, New York Ghost Tales


While the sun is shining the locals in Philmont, New York do what they do precisely equal to anywhere other, but underneath the surface there are bizarre things taking place. Furniture slide about, talk out of the night. Several locals claim there are no ghosts, but the ghosts of Philmont are out tonight trying to locate somebody to freak out.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A guy without a head was perceived pulling a body from the ice cold water of Agawamuck Creek before dawn. When the eye witness came into view the spirit ran away.

The ghost of an old prospector with a sizeable mustache and a hook instead of his hand has regularly been made out walking beside a dark highway near Philmont. Locals here allege that this phantom is that of a local person who existed here in Philmont in the past. In any event, this is a horrible ghost that is preferably not messed with.

The ghost of an aged Indian chief is known to have been spotted on one or two instances on the shore of Acker Pond holding a headbone.

A dark rat that turned into a female can repeatedly be seen screaming next to Buttermilk Falls around midnight. Regardless of what, it's a chilling spirit that you don't want to meet at midnight.
