The phantom of a young-looking woman with a cable around her neck was witnessed trying to state something down beside the water at Gravel Point. The viewer became frightened   and ran away. A man devoid of a head came into sight suspended in the air like a hot-air balloon in Portland. The ghost didn't seem to be concerned by the viewers. A local person says that this phantom is the phantom of a visitor that was killed while journeying through Portland before the present.
