Purdys, New York Ghost Tales


On the face of it Purdys, New York appears like your customary city, but some long buried folks from long ago have returned to this town. A lot of ghost stories have been reported by the people who live here. Not everyone trusts in the tales the people who live here tell, but a trip to Purdys, New York will make anybody believe.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A medieval armor devoid of a human inside can be distinguished very often startling people in Union Valley before sunrise.

The ghost of a woman with a sack fastened around her head has every so often been seen by Muscoot Dam very late at night looking at the water. Several of those who live here argue this ghost is in all probability the undeceased ghost of a person who used to have a home here in Purdys. Regardless of what, this spirit sure is bloodcurdling; one that you wouldn't want to run into after midnight.

A large menacing spirit is every now and then perceived appearing chilling mid stream in Titicus
 
    River. It's been argued that this precise ghost is the undeceased soul of a long departed Purdys local resident.

The ghost of a strapped up gentleman can occasionally be witnessed pointing at the observer down beside the water at Mahopac Point.

The ghost of a young-looking woman soaked in blood has regularly been seen in Memorial Park in the early morning hours dragging a cadaver across the dirt.
