I ran to my Mom crying, wondering who it was and what they were doing in my house. I knew that it was a spirit, but I was only a kid and didn't entirely understand. After I explained to her exactly what they looked like, she knew exactly who I was talking about. The spirit that had visited my house on Independence Day was her friend Chris, someone     she had gone to school with. He had been killed in a drunk driving accident at a pretty young age, and that day just happened to be the Anniversary of his death. I still talk about this story twelve years later, and wonder if his spirit still visits my house. .
