And yes sometimes I hear a soft subtle meow from her! So though there is a 'no pet' policy here, I still get to enjoy my ghost cat and the best part? No litter box to clean!.

Back in 1991 two childhood friends and I had come out of the woods off Daniels Road behind the Skidmore Stables at sundown after deer hunting. My friends were going to drop me off home in Wilton. My friend who owned a large flatbed Ford pickup was driving and asked if I wanted to park in the woods for a quick beer before being dropped off home. I told him ''why not?'' since although dark, it was mid November, and it was still early. We ended up driving past Skidmore College's front entrance where North Broadway ended. At that time there was a small hump of dirt that you could easily drive over. This dirt road led down to an old beer league ball field which was behind where Maple Avenue School was built. As you would drive down this path, on the left side of this path the hill goes steeply up hill, on the right side it goes downhill. When we got just about half way from the dirt hump to the bottom of the hill we parked and shut off the engine.
We got to talking and joking with my second friend, asking him if he took this path when he would walk home after drinking downtown, or would he go the long way around to get to his house which was across from the school. He stated it depended on how much he drank, explaining that if he drank a bit much he would often take the long way around East Avenue to Maple Ave. Due to the fact that walking down the path where we were parked gave him the creeps. We got to ribbing him a bit about this and asked him why he would feel that way. He stated he thought he had heard things at night walking this path and would have a nagging feeling as if being watched by someone, or something. It got quiet for just seconds when all of a sudden the truck with us three, all over 200lbs at the time, in the truck sat there and looked puzzled at each other as the truck was violently shaken.
As we looked at each other, you could hear the rear end of the truck's shocks and leaf springs were creaking as the truck was nearly bouncing off the ground. My friend who was driving told me since I was by the door to grab the flashlight. He told me to get out with him to check it out. We both got out quickly, and the truck stopped shaking at that time. There was nothing there. Due to being late fall there was no foliage on the trees where someone could have hid, and as mentioned the truck was still shaking when our feet hit the ground. We looked up and down with the bright light and found nothing. It was then dead quiet, and at that time and we decided it would be a good time to leave. On the blood of my children and Lord this is a true story.

I took a picture of a cemetery in Saratoga but I don't remember what it's name was. After I took the picture there was a big black blob floating above a gravestone. It had a point sticking out up top and two others on the sides which I guess could be the head and arms.
