Many moons ago probably in the early 1960s I used to live in a place called Stienmetz Homes in Schenectady, NY. Many a time I used to hear a deep guttural voice from my closet and would smell pipe tobacco and Bay Rum Cologne.
I yelled which brought my parents who tried to put it off as a night mare or pipe dream but admitted to the smell. Supposedly Stienmetz Homes was built on an old dump and being a nosey kid I trespassed to our cellar and dug around where upon I found human bones and a pipe and clothes that were from the 1920s; no one could explain anything.
