Shokan, New York Ghost Tales


At first glance Shokan, New York seems like your regular city, but this is a city where the undeparted stride the residential roads in the dark hours. Some of the departed will not rest in peace in this municipality. Some local residents argue these descriptions are untrue, but with so many ghosts in Shokan you have a relatively perfect chance of catching a glimpse of one if you stay overnight here.

  female was made out looking at folks in a Shokan mobile home through a keyhole. When the ghost was made out it disappeared into the air.

The spirit of the driver of a train has regularly been made out attempting to utter something up on the peak of Acorn Hill. One thing's for certain, it's a frightening phantom that you wouldn't want to meet before dawn.

A lady without a head is often noticed flickering a kerosene lamp in Hoyt Hollow at midnight. In any event, it undoubtedly is a scary spirit that you shouldn't go trying to find.
