Tuxedo Park, New York Ghost Tales When I was 17 I stayed at Tuxedo Park, NY and discovered that I was staying in a haunted butler's quarters. One day while in the house with my best friend, we heard a considerable amount of noise from the kitchen downstairs. Drawers opening and closing, metal clanging, cabinets opening and closing. It was alot of noise and I thought that maybe my friends Aunt came home early. The noise was still going strong as I came down the stairs and approached the kitchen, things were so loud when I was a foot away from entering the kitchen. When I walked in...silence! Nothing was out of place, no one was there?!       How could we hear all this noise, both my friend and I and as soon as I walk into the kitchen....silence! Later my friends Aunt and Uncle told us about the story of a young girl who haunted the house.   She fell out of the upstairs window years ago and died at age 11. My friends Aunt and Uncle figured that with two teenaged boys in the house, the ghost was trying to get our attention.....she did! .
