A fairly transparent gentleman clad as the skipper of a liner can sometimes be made out in James Baird State Park in the early morning hours before sunrise pulling a cadaver over the grass. One thing is for sure, this is an unlikable ghost that you wouldn't want to encounter late at night. The phantom of a young man sporting a confederate uniform has regularly been made out up on the highest spot of Bald Mountain smoking a pipe. One of the residents steadfastly asserts that this ghost is the stressed soul of a former Verbank local resident. Nonetheless, it's a scary phantom that any wise person wouldn't want to come across.
