flicking one of us in the back, the arm or the head. By ''flicking'' I mean when someone positions their middle finger against their thumb and thump against your skin with force. My partner's 5 year old son was sitting on the bed one day, holding one side of his head because he had a headache. Suddenly he straightened up with eyes wide and grabbed the other side of his head; he started crying and said that he'd been flicked in the head.

wall; sometimes there were two distinct knocks on the wall next to the spot where you were sitting. One morning I was up in the bathroom combing my hair in the mirror. I was wearing a polo shirt, and suddenly (and I saw this in the mirror as well as felt it) the back of the collar rose up and was pulled up and down 9 times.... Needless to say, I flew out of the house.
