Things occur in this place that cannot be given an explanation. Some local residents claim there are no ghosts, but there really are frightening things going on here in Westerlo during the dark hours. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of a youthful lady dressed in a blood-covered prom dress has repeatedly been distinguished on the shore of Basic Creek Reservoir guzzling motor oil. Regardless of what, this is an antagonistic ghost that is preferably not disturbed. The ghost of a 12 feet high huge giant is repeatedly witnessed in the early morning hours before sunrise flying over the Helderberg       Mountains. One thing is for sure, it's a frightening ghost that you do not want to run into late at night. The ghost of an adolescent girl has supposedly been witnessed on frequent instances articulating into the night in Dunbar Hollow in the early morning hours.
