Adamsville, Pennsylvania Ghost Tales I lived in an old farmhouse that had been renovated to be used as a bed and breakfast. One night I heard very loud footsteps coming up the stairs. I thought it was my boyfriend so I got up to greet him on the stairs, but he wasn't there. I knew he was there somewhere, checked the kitchen. He must have gone to the car. Nobody was there. My 4yr old daughter would see what she later described as an Amish person without a face pacing back and forth in her room. She also got up one night, thinking she had heard me in the living room. She started walking up to who she thought was me sitting on the couch, but when she got closer, she said the eyes were glowing and she ran back upstairs. My boyfriend and I both were sitting on the couch when the doorknob started turning like someone was trying to come in. We both got up, heard the front screen door slam. Nobody was there. No footprints in the snow, nothing. This house sits way off the road, kind of secluded. I always made up excuses in my mind, but finally after a few months I moved. The house is not       really used as a B&B like it was intended. It is used as a rental property, but seriously, nobody stays more than a couple of months. I could go on for days....
