Athens, Pennsylvania Ghost Tales We live in Litchfield, just outside of Athens. Our house isn't old, but this past summer we unearthed an old foundation on our property, so someone has lived here before us. We have lived here for 10 years and have very little history on our land. When our middle daughter began to talk back in 2002, she would frequently speak to a man/boy named ''Ryan''. Mostly in the corner of our living room. She described him as being as big as Daddy, but he seemed younger. He had black hair and green eyes and he was always sad. One night I was online with our daughter on my lap. She kept looking at the corner of my bedroom and shying away, like she was scared. When I asked her what was wrong, she said, ''I don't like that man. '' And pointed to the corner. As she grew older, she spoke with Ryan less and less, but still remembers and can describe him, though she's almost 9 years old now. She also now describes a mean looking bald man she used to see, though she has no name for him. She doesn't see either anymore. When we unearthed the foundation,       we found several toy cars dating back into the 1970's. All of my family, (I have 5 kids) and myself and husband included have heard/seen a small girl dressed in a white night gown wandering around our house, and seems to be focused in the back hallway and back room. That's where she's seen frequently. Most of the time, it's just the hem of the   night gown or a flash of white and she's gone, but we have heard her both giggling and crying at times. The only other encounter I had was when I was showering and my husband was taking our sitter home. This was around the time of the Ryan sightings for our daughter. I distinctly heard a man walk into the bathroom - the door opened and he cleared his throat. I hadn't heard my husband pull back in, but I called out his name and the footsteps vanished, as did the noise of anyone being there... The next thing I knew, I heard our van pull into the driveway. Other than that, I have seen my animals (our dogs & cats) watching as if someone were walking through the room and no one is there. Definintely some personal experiences for us. I've often wanted to do some EVP investigating, but I'm afraid I'd get too freaked out. Thanks for reading!.
