I could tell you stories, but no one will believe it, but I'll say this there are things like spirit doorways and things that can and will hurt you. They can move things and will make themselves known if they don't want you there. There was a doorway in that house, and the room has been blessed by a preacher. There is still a little boy that plays in the bedroom upstairs and plays hide and seek in the hallway of the living room, but the other things
in my brother's room I would rather not go into.|

I grew up on Haunted Lane. The road changed names several times. It was known as the Haunted Lane years ago. It was also known as Hunters Lane for a while. Later it became Bridgewater Road, then Totem Road and then Haunted Lane again in the 1970s. I recall a story that many years ago (in the horse and buggy days) there was an inn along the road. The inn keeper enjoyed walking around at night rattling chains, etc. And scaring overnight guest. I don't know how true that is, but I can tell you that there were strange things that have occurred in most houses and to most families along the street, and that is why they got together in 1976 to have the street name returned to Haunted Lane.
Our family experienced many supernatural events over the 50+ years of living there. We had been told many stories from other neighbors as well. Enough stories to write a book. This area was originally known as Bridgewater, PA and was a popular vacation spot for many years. The Neshaminy Creek was lined with summer cottages and people from Philadelphia would rent these cottages along the water in the summer to escape the summer heat in the city. Not sure why this area was so haunted for so many years, but I can tell you first hand that it is true. I would love to know which house the previous story was talking about.
