Dallas, Pennsylvania Ghost Tales | |

My family, and I used to live on demunds road in the early 80's in a small rancher house that was said to be built on indian burial grounds. Alot of strange things happened in that house during our 3 year stay there. I was only a child at the time, but I remember waking up in the middle of the night, seeing 2 ghosts floating around the room laughing. Pictures would fly off the wall at my sister. I even once seen a man in a rocking chair, rocking, smoking a cigar. At night you would hear a lady calling out to her husband from the attic. My sister was folding clothes on a dresser in my parents bedroom, with the mirror facing the bed. She glanced in the mirror, and saw a man, and woman laying in bed, and when she turned around to look she saw indents of the bodies in the covers. Our last day there at the house we were watching TV, and our dog at the time was growling at my bedroom door. His hair stood up, and he even snapped at my dad (which never happened) for walking over to him. We knew something was wrong, and left for an hour than came back.

When we opened the bedroom door, the smell of decomposed bodies flooded the house. Thats when we left everything there, and moved to to the suburbs of Philadelphia. Submitted by Chris Categories: home, native_american, burial_ground
I grew up in a house on Main St. in Dallas, a 120 year old house that

is rumored to have been owened by the mafia during the 40's and 50's. The house had been sitting vacant for some time before my parents purchased it in the late eighties. Our neighbors told us that prior to our moving in, they would see a bright glowing green light in the basement and attic windows. We thought that they where pulling our legs until we witnessed it for ourselves while returning home late one night. We lived in the house for 8 years and witnessed the green lights many times over the that we lived there. The lights only seemed to appear during family crisis's or when we had a overnight guest. I kept in contact with alot of my buddies after we moved and they all claim that the light glowed brighter than ever after we moved out. The light can still be seen from time to time by passer's by.
