out of that house. A lot of that area was an Indian burial ground! So not very surprising that the area could be very haunted! I'm wondering if anyone else in that area has ever noticed anything strange. I'd love to hear it!.

My father moved into Essington on Bartram Avenue 3 months ago. Strange things started happening right away. My brother complained of screaming he heard at 3 am in the house then woke up twice with scratches all over his arms.

The drawers started opening and closing by themselves. Then the phone would ring at 3:03 am every morning for weeks but no one would be on the other line. Last night I slept there and woke up on the front porch hearing my father say what the hell are you doing. I woke up standing out in the cold with my car keys in my hand completely baffled about how the hell I got outside and what I was doing.
Had this overwhelming feeling that I had to get out of the house. I woke up at 10 am with scratches all down my arm and hand. We took a picture in the basement of an old dresser and there was a mans face in the picture, very detailed and creepy as all hell.
I am not going back into that house ever again, my father is staying at my apartment with me and my brothers. None of us want to go back.
