Glenolden, Pennsylvania Ghost Tales My house is in Glenolden near Ashland Ave, and I get ghosts out the bum!!! One is I think of a dog because I hear growling noises everytime I get angry and I know it not from me or my mom, and I see shadows all the time and hear whispers. One time I was having a sleep over and a glass snow man was thrown toward me but I moved out of the way before I could get hit and when I looked back at where it was the last thing I was the last of someone's black hair, then a like two years later. I was in my basement with a bunch of friends and they told me that they saw a little girl with long hair in a chair sewing. Then one time my friend felt her hair being played with, She thought it was me but I was asleep, then like a week ago I felt someone's hand brush against my back and when I looked back no one was there, just darkness and my computer. It was proven that my house is haunted as it can be!!!!!!! I get the heeby jeebys just thinking about it.. . Submitted by Nin I live on Ashland Ave. and went to Ashland Middle School. In after hours       at school I heard a piano playing in a hall that nobody was in. I went to the music room where the music was playing and the lights were off. As I grabbed the door handle and tried to get in the piano stopped and i realized the door was locked shut. A custodian said the ghost has been in the school for years and they now just ignore it. I'm 16, ever since I lived in glenolden since I was 5, You could feel little chills now and then but nothing serious. as I got older I became more sensitive and kinda paranoid. Turner Apartments, Is and very much will always be haunted. The apartments are very unkempt bu t it's also very eerie it's all so hard to explain. Submitted by current resident of Glenolden I was driving down Ashland Ave. in Glenolden last night. I had just checked the clock to make sure i'd be home in time, it was 11:57. Out of no where I see a man in a blue jacket in the street and as I slammed on the brakes he turned around, and he was gone. I looked around but couldn't find anything. It all happen very quickly but there is no denying that he was wearing a navy blue jacket, with pants that were light, possibly grey, and he also had on a hat. I found the one about the young man in the confederate uniform, and I have no doubt that it was that.
