There is said to be ghosts wandering along the roadside. This area has been host to several tragic incidents during the 1800's. One horrific Accident occured involving a Young man who had climed to the top of a smoke stack along with his father and Brothers to make repairs. In those days they did not wait for the huge furnace below to Cool down completely. Unfortunately     the Young man lost his grip and plummeted 50 feet down into the swede Iron furnace where he was instantly cremated. As word spread fellow villagers gathered at bottom of the furnace to see the remains be removed. There has been reports of seeing a shadowy looking figure of a Young man in overalls walking in the area.
