On the opposite side of Gruskin Lane there is the smaller cemetery located in Kittanning on Troy Hill Road. Only go back Gruskin Lane at your own risk. There is at least one family who does live back there and owns a house and property. A lot of people go back there to test out their 4x4 vehicles. Others sight in their fire arms. People often dump garbage back there.
It is a public access road, but for these reasons one should exercise caution.

The entire area is wooded. I do not know what all wildlife has been reported. A road does lead into a pathway that will take you to Buttermilk Falls.

Gruskin Lane and the surrounding wooded area can give you a definite ''spook factor''. I have heard old stories of a ''Goat Man'' like entity or spirit. After multiple times back there, eventually I did hear a ''weird noise''. I will say it sounded like a raspy goat (bleat or cry?) I also heard a lot of brush and foliage crunching, cracking, and being broken down.
Nothing I can personally
