Levittown, Pennsylvania Ghost Tales | |

I used to live in Forsythia Gate in Levittown, For anybody who has a gate house knows that the upstairs has only two rooms, one little one to the left and a huge one to the right. My sisters shared the big room to the right and all three of them reported hearing things but my sister Amy (the youngest) was the only one who reported seeing something. What I am about to tell you is one of the many reasons why we moved and although it's behind us I still try to avoid entering a room without light. This is all true and whatever was in that house effected all of us. My sister reported shadows moving around her wall and changing shapes. I was waken up in the room across the hall to her screaming and ran over to see what was wrong and she was white as a ghost and sweating bullets, she swore up and down that she woke up to a cold breeze across her neck and saw a dark tall shadow next to her bed. She slept in my parents room for the next 2 weeks. My brother and I decided to swap rooms with our sisters to see if anything happens. Well I was never

a sleep walker, and I started to sleep walk. One night my sister found me on the couch just sitting there, she said that she tried to talk to me but I was non responsive, she said that my eyes were never like she has ever seen them, she said that they were empty and cold almost lifeless. I have no recollection of this. Time went on and my brother and

I both heard things, like the floor creaking, the exposed cross members would sound like something was hanging from them, and something almost like moans. Now we were all young, my sister was 5 at the time so she couldn't have made that up. Years passed and the same things were happening the same sounds. Well I had a friend sleep over and he asked me the next morning why I was up walking around all night, that I was keeping him awake. I said that I was sleeping I never left my bed. Now I don't know how creditable that is because he wasn't the most honest person in the world d, but my oldest sisters room was downstairs and she says that she would hear whispers in the middle of the night. Now here is the most compelling story I have, my brother isn't know to tell wildish stories so here it goes. One night in February, I woke up to seeing my brother sitting up and talking. I thought he was sleep talking so I went back to sleep. The next morning he asked me if I saw it, I said saw what? He said the guy I was talking to. He described him to

me and I didn't know who he was talking about. Well he told my grand mom and she just stopped cold and got one of her photo albums, and showed us a picture of her great grandfather. My brother said that's him, that's who I saw. And that's the last we ever heard of it. Compelled by this story my mother knew that he has never seen my great x3 grandfather so she decided to take this into her own hands, one of her co-worker's daughter's claimed that she was a medium so she invited her over. As soon as she arrived she said And this still sends a chill down my back, she stopped dead in her tracks and said, '' oh my, I have never felt this before'' she said that there is not something, it is a disembodied human spirit. She said that it means no harm and not to worry about it, but stressed not to challenge or try to communicate with it. Just ignore it. Then she went upstairs and it all went to shit, she said that she felt a strong negative energy, that she doesn't know if it was evil or benign. I didn't believe her so I just went downstairs and watched t. V. More years went and when we moved in there we were very close nit, and now we couldn't stand each other. There was def. Negative energy between all of us. Well my sister (Amy) said that she couldn't sleep and my father walked out on us, I quit all of my sports and just wanted to be alone, my brother was never home and my mother and sister were always fighting. Then one night it happened. I was sleeping and I woke up, and I was it approaching my be d. I had a overwhelming feeling of doom, you know like people who have heart attacks say they feel doom, well I swear I was screaming my brothers name and it was like I was in a bubble, no one was coming to my calls for help. Then as soon as it got to the foot of my bed it disappeared. It was not a scary looking thing, I cant describe exactly what it looked like. It was a silhouette of I want to say a horse, but it didn't have a horse body just it's lower body and it was on 2 legs. It had a human upper body. Well we moved because of the divorce and nobody has reported anything else since. You can take this as you want to but I know what happened and my fear I still feel today is not made up.
