Lock Haven, Pennsylvania Ghost Tales Lots of activity on the Lock Haven University campus.  I had experiences in 3 dorms there.  In Woolridge Hall, in one of the girls' bathrooms, the sinks would suddenly turn on and toliets would flush, even though there was no one there.   And in Gross Hall, one day I was alone in my room studying, and the closet door slid open by itself.  Finally, I was on campus one summer for a new student orientatin.  I was staying in Russell Hall.  Before the parents and students got there, another person and I were walking around making sure everything was ready.  On the third floor, there is a door that leads up to the bell tower (supposedly haunted by the ghost of someone who hung themselves there).  We found the door hanging open and the bell tower lights on one day.  We turned the lights out, shut the door, and went about our business.  When we walked past there again a little while later, the door was open and the lights were on again. This phantom is fantastically active in this neighborhood; there have been frequent additional sightings of this precise phantom. A man with a sizeable hole through his chest has regularly been witnessed looking chilling at Upper Castanea Reservoir Dam late in the night. It's been declared that this exact ghost may be a renowned days gone by local of Lock Haven. A woman's body with an animal's head is frequently witnessed slurping water from Big Spring at midnight. A somewhat decomposed human body has been said to have been noticed on a small number of instances very late at night checking out Axe Factory Hollow in detail.
