Mechanicsburg is definitely a haunted community. It is an old community--in fact it is in the history books for being the northern most town that the Confederates held right prior to the Battle of Gettysburg. My home has 2 ghosts. They are very pleasant, nurturing, and just want to be acknowledged. I've had so many experiences that I cannot list them all. My hauntings are intelligent. The female ghost has tucked my granddaughter into bed, flipped a saline solution bottle up into the air and then into a dog's water dish, closed curtains, turned lights on/off/and brighter, shook the shower curtain while I was in it, flipped a small oil painting off a small easel, leaving the easel still standing, dogs refusing to go up the steps for the first 6 weeks we were in the house, and made the following sounds: boot steps, my name called, conversations, a ball bouncing in every corner of my bedroom, and sounds of a toy in my bedroom for an hour and a half. I've had a couple of mediums in the home and they have validated their presences. The one medium's

While the sun is up the folks who live here in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania do what they do exactly like anywhere other, but there are atypical things going on in this settlement at night. There have been loads of encounters with persons from another zone. Skeptics don't have faith in the local ghost descriptions, but the ghosts of Mechanicsburg are out tonight seeking somebody to scare.

A man's body having the head of an animal has been said to have been spotted on frequent instances in a residence next to Mechanicsburg. In any case, it undoubtedly is a creepy ghost that you would not want to meet late in the night.
The spirit of a gentleman carrying a sword can regularly be witnessed searching for a box next to a parked car in a Mechanicsburg parking lot at the stroke of midnight.
