When I was growing up I used to live in Indian creek development I used to see Indian warriors with full headdress (feathers) walking in a diagonal line through my backyard when I was washing the dishes.
Apparently there was a trail there and I'd see deer walking single file through the yard all the time. Most of the time I'd see Indians walking along this trail that cut through my backyard. I used to live in this development before they built sleepy hollow and other Streets beyond Pawnee drive.
Vernon sealover used to be the builder there and he was planning on digging up the corn field where the old Indian burial ground was. No one seemed to believe me that I could see the camp fires and hear the Indians dancing singing and chanting near the woods.|
This area was near Sears run road old Good Hope road that runs along the creek bordering Indian creek. But I could and so could the kids that I used to babysit on Pawnee drive. They were really scared and once they realized I could see ghosts and hear the Indians --they'd crawl into my lap and hold onto me for dear life! I told them to not be afraid and as long as they respected the Indians the Indians would respect them.
The kids parents found out that I could see the ghosts and they told me to stop talking about it. But how do you tell parents they are wrong to not admit the truth about ghosts? They stopped having me babysit and soon the ghosts got so bad in this one house where I used to baby sit the kids--they had to move out.
The old Indian burial ground was disturbed by Vernon sealover because he didn't believe me when I told him he had to respect the dead. He laughed and said I was foolish. I begged him not to build sleepy hollow but he did anyway.
