At Maple Valley Park if you go there late at night and take pictures you will get very werid super charged orbs. And you will hear an old lady screaming. I witnessed this and I sware it's true. The white-chipped gate with the bolted lock is a signal to not enter! Beware, trespassing is illegal! Every so often people have taken walks and have been ''shot at'' by ghost amishmen protecting their grave sights. The gate sometimes open on an eerie night... These       are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A female with a bottle-green face is known to have been made out on frequent occasions seated in a chair in a flat in Meyersdale. In any event, this is an unfriendly ghost that you shouldn't go seeking. A gentleman having a knife in his head can often be distinguished   trying to state something up on the highest spot of Hunsrick Summit. A gentleman's body having the head of a horse may be seen time and again flashing a light in Maple Valley Park in the early morning hours. Regardless of what people utter, it sure is a creepy phantom that should be shunned. The ghost of a guy clutching a sword has occasionally been noticed heaving chunks of concrete into Siebert Lake on a dark night. Lots of folks who live here assert this phantom might be a famous past dweller of Meyersdale. One thing is for sure, this ghost undeniably is creepy; one that is better not messed with. A woman with larvae crawling out of her mouth is sometimes noticed scaring folks under a lamppost in Meyersdale. In any event, this is an unsympathetic spirit that you don't want to meet very late at night. The ghost of a strapped up female has been said to have been noticed on many instances at Piney Creek around midnight flinging bricks into the water.
