The blue Goose an actual train that traveled from Cumberland, MD to Connelsville, PA each day in the 1930's, stopped at the Deal, PA Depot to pick up children and took them to school in Meyersdale and returned them on it's return trip. One morning the children didn't come out of the house next to the depot and the conductor went to investigate. He peered into the kitchen window and froze. The engineer and two farmers went to investigate why the conductor wasn't moving. Not only was he dead, his facial features were missing. Void of eyes, nose, mouth. The family vanished. This story was documented in ''The blue Goose and The Mystery house''. The author makes this story available at no charge in text and audio.
