Several of the small islands in the river here are known to be haunted. I have been told by some that it is all related to our infamous nuclear power plant but I don't think the hauntings are related to that. The one that I have witnessed myself is the one on Poplar Island. The ghost of a young Native American warrior. I only saw his upper body and only for a very brief moment but others have seen him full body and for longer time. This Native American

Comment by Joe: These spirits were obviously awakened by the nuclear accident and are now watching over the area to make sure it stays safe. So yes the two are definitely related.
