When I was 4 years old, we were living in half a double house on Market Street. Lots of activity in that house. My brother and I would often hear moans and whispers in the living room and in the bedrooms. I often saw things moving out of the corner of my eye, but when I'd turn to look, they were gone. Most frightening was that one night I woke up to a woman in old-fashioned dress standing at the foot of my bed. She looked sad and wasn't really threatening, but being 4, it scared the daylights out of me, and I screamed. By the time my parents got there, she had disappeared.

Most of the residents in Millersburg, Pennsylvania are blissfully unaware of the horrible secrets this settlement holds; when the darkness of nighttime commences; things get bloodcurdling.
