Custom Search Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania Ghost Sightings Mount Gretna PAGE 1   2     About 10 years ago I was staying at a house in Mount Gretna. (Not sure the street or number but it is right next to the white church in the campground.) Anyway, it was Autumn, I was there with my girlfriend, and the town was not very crowded at the time. Upon going to bed (with all of the doors locked and windows closed) I was almost asleep in bed when I heard people talking. I was in that state somewhere between sleep     and being awake when I heard them and I immediately sat up in bed startled. Simoultaneously when I sat up in bed, the door swung open forcefully and no one was there. My girlfriend immediately awoke when I sat up and witnessed the event, too. Terrifying. I immediately went down stairs and grabbed a knife. Checked all doors, windows, and closets to see if anything was ajar. Nothing. We barely slept that night and checked out the next day. I later went to Penn Realty (the company where I rented the house and jokingly brought up the incident.) The woman just laughed   (continued on the next page...)
