The       phantom of a hobo became visible in a canoe on Lake McClure searching for someone. The witness ran off when she witnessed the ghost. Loads of people who live here declare this ghost is that of a person who had a home here in New Berlin many years ago. Regardless of what folks express, it is certainly a bloodcurdling ghost that you shouldn't go trying   to find. The spirit of a young female covered in blood was seen up on the top of Middle Creek Mountain crying. The ghost was unconcerned that there was someone other near.
