The undeceased are living in this municipality as the folks who live here will reveal. Some folks who live here allege there are no ghosts, but there in fact are creepy things happening here in New Derry at night. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A decapitated man was perceived smoking a cigar in Bear Cave Hollow at night. The observer freaked out and ran off. The ghost of a dentist with a blood-covered uniform came into sight sitting on a stool in an apartment in New Derry. The ghost reacted to the watcher. A number of people allege this ghost is the tormented spirit of a long dead New       Derry local person. The ghost of a gentleman holding a blood-covered sword was noticed reading a tabloid under a lamppost in New Derry. When the ghost was seen it disappeared into the night. In any event, it is certainly a scary ghost that you would not want to encounter on a dark night. The ghost of a civil war fighter appeared marching   from mobile home to mobile home before dawn on a New Derry residential road. The ghost was swallowed by the thin air after being noticed. It has been declared that this individual phantom is the phantom of a traveler that was murdered while traveling through New Derry a long time ago.
