Dark time is undeceased time in this town. Several local residents allege there are no ghosts, but if you have the courage to spend a night in Newry, you could observe a ghost for yourself.

The phantom of a young female outfitted as a maid was spotted looking at people in a Newry apartment through a door crack. The ghost didn't seem to be scared by the onlookers. A lot of residents say this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was murdered while driving through Newry in the past. No matter what, it is in all certainty a menacing spirit that is better not disturbed.

The phantom of a young cowboy showed up hurling bricks in Carson Valley in the early morning hours before sunrise. The phantom waved to the eye witness. One thing's for sure, this is an unfriendly ghost that you wouldn't want to bump into
 
    late at night.

A scary beast was perceived in a wild place near Newry. When the ghost was spotted it disappeared into the thin air. Residents here who have noticed this ghost say this ghost is that of a local who lived here in Newry some decades ago.

The spirit of a copper-miner materialized in Alto Rest Park at the stroke of midnight
  covering a body by a sizeable rock. The ghost was ingested by the thin air after being noticed. In any event, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that any sound person would not want to bump into.

The phantom of a gentleman outfitted as a gardener was observed devastating a bag up on the pinnacle of Chimney Rocks. Panic stricken by the witnesses the spirit faded away into the dark. No matter what, it undeniably is a frightening ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.
