Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania Ghost Tales


Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania is an outwardly ordinary place as long as the sun is in the sky, but after dusk one could distinguish some frightening things. Some of the dead will not rest in peace in this town. A number of locals allege these testimonies are not true, but seeing is believing and if you stay for a few days here in Pen Argyl, you may perhaps catch a glimpse of a spirit.

The ghost of a copper-miner has once in a while been made out sniveling in Jacobsburg State Park in the early morning hours

  observed on one or two occasions staring up on the summit of Crystal Hill. A man who lives here declares that this ghost enjoys startling unwise folks who have the nerve to upset the serenity in Pen Argyl. One thing's for guaranteed, this is an unsympathetic phantom that should be kept away from.

The phantom of an aged gentleman with a large gray mustache may sometimes be spotted mailing an envelope at a Pen Argyl post office.

A lady with a knife sticking out of her head has regularly been noticed by Blue Mountain Dam at the stroke of midnight gazing at the water.

The ghost of a female
with a bag tied around her head has been said to have been witnessed on one or two occasions articulating into the air as if someone else was present. A number of folks assert this spirit enjoys frightening unwise folks who come searching for spirits in Pen Argyl.

A partly transparent guy outfitted as the captain of a liner can frequently be distinguished by Bear Swamp startling people.

The ghost of a young-looking gentleman wearing a confederate uniform can be observed often calling out names of people in the center of Appenzell Creek. In any event, it's a frightening ghost that you wouldn't want to encounter on a dark night.

The ghost of a bound up man has occasionally been perceived studying Fox Gap in detail on a dark night. If you talk to the residents, this ghost may be a renowned past dweller of Pen Argyl.

The ghost of a young woman covered in blood is occasionally seen down beside Horn Springs before sunrise turning toward the eye witness.

A man with a large hole through his torso is known to have been perceived on a handful of occasions staring irritably at the watcher on the highest spot of one of the heights in the Kittatinny Mountain at night. A lot of locals say this ghost is most likely the undead ghost of a local who used to have a home here in Pen Argyl.

A guy having the head of a beast can occasionally be witnessed screaming at the bystander to go away on the shore of Minsi Lake.
