Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania Ghost Tales I grew up on the Poconos and I believe it was the spring of 96 or 97 I was sitting in my basement that is off of Fantasy drive in Scotrun. I was facing my sliding glass door which opens into the woods behind my house. My two friends had their backs facing the door. I remember looking up and there stood the figure of a younger girl in a long white dress with long dark hair. My face must have shown my fear because my two friends screamed and they didnt even see what I saw. They screamed because of the look on my face. I stayed away from the basement for months afterwards. However, I never saw this figure again but it has stuck with me forever as one of the scariest things I have ever seen.
